My name is Rose Fennell, and I work out of my pottery studio in the quiet suburban comfort of Cheverly, Maryland. In addition to having my own place to create, I am also a member of the Langley Park Potters, a community studio in Montgomery County, Maryland. I am dedicated to creating handcrafted pottery pieces that are unique and of high quality, never using models or jigs. Almost all work is thrown on the wheel, although some pieces are hand-built using slab or pinch-pot methods.

I specialize in functional pottery such as bowls, plates, mugs and other types of dinnerware. But certainly, I appreciate the joy that comes from creating one-of-a-kind pieces. I enjoy adding just a dash of whimsy to everything I create, such as the "Pick-it" toothpick holders or the custom-made dog and cat food dishes.
